Born in Akita in 1995, Yumi graduated from Akita Prefectural University before starting her career in banking. Her passion for visual design and brand identity led her to transition into logo and brand design, where she quickly made a name for herself with her distinctive minimalist style.
Yumi specialises in simple, flat logo designs that capture the essence of a brand. Her approach combines thorough client interviews with creative intuition, resulting in logos that tell a story while maintaining visual clarity.

Crafting Kai's brand identity
Yumi's creative vision was instrumental in developing Kai's vibrant brand identity. She designed the distinctive logo featuring the kanji character 改 (meaning 'Renew' or 'Change'), perfectly capturing the essence of Kai's mission to drive continuous improvement in sustainability practices.
